5. Payment Information

Payments may be processed through third party payment providers. Plan B Ceremonies does not generally store complete payment card information when payment processing is handled by a third party. Payment information is subject to the applicable payment provider's own terms and privacy practices, and Plan B Ceremonies is not responsible for the acts or omissions of independent third party payment processors.

6. Information Sharing and Disclosure

Plan B Ceremonies does not sell or rent personal information for monetary consideration.

We may share information when reasonably necessary with payment processors, booking platforms, website providers, email providers, scheduling providers, professional advisors (including attorneys, accountants, and insurers), venues, vendors, government authorities, or other service providers necessary to operate the business and provide requested services.

We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is legally required, or reasonably necessary to protect our rights, property, personnel, or safety, or the rights, property, or safety of Clients or others, including in connection with actual or threatened legal claims.

7. Information Concerning Third Parties

Clients may provide information about themselves, their partners, wedding party members, family members, guests, or other individuals in connection with ceremony planning.

Clients represent and warrant that they have obtained any necessary consent or authority to provide such information to Plan B Ceremonies, and Clients agree to indemnify and hold Plan B Ceremonies harmless from any claim arising from a Client's provision of another individual's information without proper authorization.

8. Photography and Promotional Content

Plan B Ceremonies may request permission to use photographs, videos, testimonials, names, or other content from ceremonies for promotional purposes, consistent with any media release executed as part of the Client Service Agreement.

Clients may decline or withdraw consent to promotional use of their identifiable images by notifying Plan B Ceremonies in writing; such withdrawal will apply prospectively and will not affect materials already published prior to receipt of the request.

Plan B Ceremonies does not control, and disclaims responsibility for, photographs, videos, or social media content created or published by guests, venues, photographers, or other independent third parties.

 

9. Communications

We may contact you by email, telephone, text message, or other contact method you provide. Communications may include booking confirmations, reminders, ceremony planning information, payment information, administrative notices, and, where permitted by law, promotional communications.

You may opt out of promotional communications at any time. Service related communications reasonably necessary to administer your booking may still be sent regardless of promotional opt out status.

10. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, maintain business records, comply with legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and protect our legal rights, and in any event for the period required by applicable Pennsylvania and federal law.

Information may be securely deleted or destroyed when it is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, subject to legal and business record requirements.

Plan B Ceremonies uses commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical measures designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the information collected.

No electronic system, website, or method of transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You acknowledge and accept this inherent risk when transmitting information to us electronically. Clients should avoid sending highly sensitive information (such as full financial account numbers or government identification numbers) through unsecured communications unless specifically requested and through a method we designate as secure.

Our website may contain links to third party websites, and our services may involve coordination with independent third party vendors (such as venues, photographers, and planners). Plan B Ceremonies does not control, and is not responsible for, the privacy practices, content, or conduct of any third party website or independent vendor. Our website and services are directed to adults and are not intended for use by, or to knowingly collect personal information directly from, individuals under the age of 18. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pennywood Group LLC, Plan B Ceremonies, and its officiants disclaim liability for unauthorized access to or disclosure of information resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including third party criminal acts, technical failures of third party providers, or Client error in transmitting information.

This Policy is governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to conflict of law principles, and any disputes arising from this Policy shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, or as otherwise provided in your Client Service Agreement.
