Plan B Ceremonies
Service Policies

These Service Policies apply to all bookings made with Plan B Ceremonies.
Booking and Payment
All services must be booked through an approved Plan B Ceremonies booking method.
A date and time are not reserved until the required payment has been received and the booking has been confirmed. The Client is responsible for reviewing all booking information before payment.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. Unless a different written policy is provided for a specific package, cancellation fees are based on the total service price, as follows:
More than 7 days before the ceremony: 10 percent of the total service price is due.
3 to 7 days before the ceremony: 50 percent of the total service price is due.
2 days or less before the ceremony: 100 percent of the total service price is due.
Any amount already paid will be applied toward the applicable cancellation fee.
No show: A Client who does not appear for the scheduled ceremony without prior communication will not be entitled to a refund.
Rescheduling
Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing and is subject to Plan B Ceremonies availability.
Requests made at least 7 days before the ceremony may be rescheduled without a rescheduling fee when the requested date is available.
Requests made less than 7 days before the ceremony may be subject to a rescheduling fee.
Requests made less than 48 hours before the ceremony may be treated as cancellations.
A new date is not reserved until Plan B Ceremonies confirms it in writing.
The Client is responsible for arriving on time. Plan B Ceremonies will make reasonable efforts to accommodate delays when scheduling permits. The scheduled end time may remain unchanged. Additional time may be charged at the applicable overtime rate. If the Client is more than 30 minutes late and has not communicated with Plan B Ceremonies, the booking may be considered a no show.
The ceremony service period ends at the time specified in the booking.
Additional time is not guaranteed. If Plan B Ceremonies is available to remain beyond the scheduled service period, additional time may be charged.
Outdoor ceremonies require a reasonable backup plan. If severe weather or unsafe conditions arise, Plan B Ceremonies may require the ceremony to be moved to a safer location. Plan B Ceremonies will make reasonable efforts to accommodate weather related changes. Weather does not automatically entitle the Client to a refund or fee waiver when Plan B remains available and willing to perform the contracted service.
Travel included in a package is limited to the service area specified at booking. Additional travel fees may apply outside the included service area. The Client is responsible for providing an accurate ceremony location.
Plan B Ceremonies is not responsible for traffic, road closures, parking problems, construction, weather, inaccurate directions, or other travel delays outside our reasonable control.
The Couple is responsible for obtaining and properly maintaining all required marriage documentation.
Plan B Ceremonies is not responsible for a rejected, expired, missing, incomplete, incorrectly completed, or improperly filed marriage license.
Changes to the ceremony date, time, location, package, guest count, ceremony format, or requested services should be communicated as soon as possible. Changes may result in additional fees.
Plan B Ceremonies cannot guarantee that requested changes will be available.
Personalized vows, readings, names, traditions, and ceremony preferences may be incorporated when included in the selected package. Extensive custom writing, additional meetings, rehearsals, or other services outside the selected package may require additional fees.
Guests
The Client is responsible for guest and wedding party conduct.
Guests must comply with venue requirements and reasonable instructions necessary for the ceremony.
Pets
Pets may participate only when permitted by the ceremony location and agreed upon in advance.
The Client remains responsible for the pet's behavior, supervision, and any resulting damage.
Venue Rules
The Client is responsible for obtaining permission to use the ceremony location.
The Client is responsible for complying with venue rules. Plan B Ceremonies is not responsible for venue restrictions or closures outside our control.
Emergency Cancellation
If Plan B Ceremonies cannot perform a ceremony because of an emergency or circumstances within our reasonable control, Plan B will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the service or waive the applicable cancellation fee for services that cannot be provided.
Force Majeure
Plan B Ceremonies is not responsible for failure or delay caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control.
These circumstances may include severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, illness, emergencies, venue closures, transportation disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
Policy Changes
Plan B Ceremonies may update these Service Policies. The policies applicable to a confirmed booking will generally be those accepted at the time of booking unless otherwise required by law or agreed in writing.
