Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: Aug 24, 2026
Entity: Pennywood Group LLC, doing business as Plan B Ceremonies ("Company," "we," "us," "our")

These Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Plan B Ceremonies, including wedding ceremonies, elopements, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, officiating services, ceremony planning, and related services.

By visiting the Plan B Ceremonies website, submitting an inquiry, booking a service, making a payment, electronically accepting an agreement, or otherwise using our services, you ("Client," "you," "your") agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions in their entirety. If you do not agree, do not use our website or services.

1. Acceptance of Terms

You represent that you are at least 18 years of age and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to purchase services from Plan B Ceremonies.

By booking services, you represent and warrant that the information you provide is accurate and complete, and that you have full authority to enter into this agreement on behalf of yourself and, where applicable, your partner.

Plan B Ceremonies reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to refuse, suspend, or terminate services at any time when reasonably necessary because of unlawful conduct, unsafe conditions, material misrepresentation, abusive conduct, nonpayment, or violation of these Terms, without liability to the Client beyond any refund expressly required under the Service Policies.

2. Services

Plan B Ceremonies provides services according to the package selected by the Client at booking.

Services may include wedding ceremonies, elopements, vow renewals, commitment ceremonies, officiating, ceremony planning, personalized ceremony preparation, and other services specifically identified in the Client's booking confirmation.

Services not specifically included in the selected package are excluded from the booking. Additional services may be made available at Plan B Ceremonies' sole discretion for an additional fee.

3. Booking

A booking is not confirmed until the required payment has been received and Plan B Ceremonies has confirmed the booking in writing.

The Client is solely responsible for reviewing all booking details before submitting payment, including confirming the correct date, time, location, package, and contact information.

Plan B Ceremonies is not responsible, and disclaims all liability, for errors, omissions, or resulting damages caused by inaccurate or incomplete information supplied by the Client.

4. Payment

All required payments must be made in full according to the terms presented at booking.

Plan B Ceremonies reserves the right to withhold or refuse to provide services where required payments have not been received.

Additional services, travel, overtime, custom writing, rehearsals, or special requests may result in additional charges, to be agreed upon in writing before being incurred.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellation and rescheduling are governed by the Plan B Ceremonies Service Policies, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.

All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to the contact information below. Rescheduling is subject to Plan B Ceremonies' availability, and no new date or time is guaranteed until confirmed in writing.

6. Ceremony Date and Time

Ceremony dates and times are reserved exclusively for the Client, and other prospective clients are turned away as a result of this reservation.

The Client agrees to be ready and available at the scheduled start time. Delays caused by the Client, wedding party, guests, venue, photographer, planner, transportation provider, or any other third party do not automatically extend the reserved service period, and Plan B Ceremonies is not liable for any resulting shortening of the ceremony or related services.

Additional time beyond the reserved period may be made availa ble at Plan B Ceremonies' sole discretion and may require an additional fee, payable at the time such extension is requested.

7. Marriage License

The Couple is solely and exclusively responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license and satisfying all legal requirements applicable to their marriage in the relevant jurisdiction.

Plan B Ceremonies makes no guarantee, express or implied, that any marriage license will be issued, accepted, recorded, or processed by any government agency, and disclaims all liability arising from any failure, delay, denial, or defect in licensing.

The Couple is solely responsible for confirming all applicable requirements with the appropriate government authority. Plan B Ceremonies does not provide, and nothing in our services should be construed as, legal advice concerning marriage, divorce, immigration, taxation, property, estate planning, or any other legal matter, and Clients should consult a qualified attorney for such matters.

8. Ceremony Location

The Client is solely responsible for selecting the ceremony location and obtaining any required permission, license, or authorization to use that location.

The Client must comply with all applicable venue rules and requirements. Plan B Ceremonies is not responsible for, and disclaims all liability arising from, venue closures, restrictions, access problems, parking limitations, or other venue issues outside our reasonable control.

Changes to the ceremony location after booking may result in additional travel or service fees, at Plan B Ceremonies' discretion.

9. Weather

Outdoor ceremonies involve inherent weather related risks that the Client accepts by selecting an outdoor location. The Client is solely responsible for arranging an appropriate backup plan.

Plan B Ceremonies may require a ceremony to be relocated, shortened, or modified when weather or environmental conditions create a reasonable safety concern, in Plan B Ceremonies' sole and reasonable judgment. Plan B Ceremonies is under no obligation to perform services in conditions it reasonably considers unsafe, and no refund or liability shall arise from a decision made in good faith under this section, beyond what is expressly provided in the Service Policies.

10. Client and Guest Conduct

Clients, guests, wedding parties, and other attendees must behave respectfully and safely toward Plan B Ceremonies personnel and other third parties at all times.

Threatening, abusive, harassing, discriminatory, violent, or unlawful conduct of any kind is strictly prohibited.

Plan B Ceremonies reserves the right to immediately stop, suspend, or terminate services, without refund, when conduct creates an unsafe environment, exposes personnel to harm, or materially interferes with the ceremony, at Plan B Ceremonies' sole discretion.

11. Third Party Vendors

Photographers, videographers, venues, planners, musicians, florists, transportation providers, decorators, and other vendors are independent third parties and are not agents, employees, partners, or representatives of Plan B Ceremonies unless expressly stated otherwise in writing.

Plan B Ceremonies disclaims all responsibility and liability for the conduct, performance, delays, cancellations, errors, omissions, injuries, property damage, or failure to provide services by any such third party, whether or not that vendor was recommended by Plan B Ceremonies.

12. Photography and Video

Clients and guests may photograph or record ceremonies unless prohibited by the venue or otherwise agreed in writing.

Plan B Ceremonies may request permission to use photographs, videos, testimonials, or other content for promotional purposes, consistent with any media release provision in the Client Service Agreement.

Plan B Ceremonies does not control, and disclaims all responsibility for, photographs, recordings, or social media posts made by guests or independent third party vendors.

13. Intellectual Property

Plan B Ceremonies retains full and exclusive ownership of its original ceremony templates, written materials, business processes, forms, systems, branding, and other proprietary content.

Client supplied vows, personal writings, photographs, and other Client materials remain the property of the Client or their respective owner.

No Plan B Ceremonies materials may be commercially reproduced, sold, distributed, republished, or used to create derivative works without our express prior written permission.

14. Privacy

Personal information is collected, used, and disclosed according to the Plan B Ceremonies Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference and explains the types of information collected, how it is used, circumstances under which it may be shared, and applicable privacy rights.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

Services are provided using reasonable care and professionalism, on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or noninfringement, except as expressly stated in these Terms.

Plan B Ceremonies does not guarantee outcomes that depend upon government agencies, venues, weather, vendors, guests, transportation providers, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plan B Ceremonies, Pennywood Group LLC, and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages of any kind arising from or relating to the services, including but not limited to lost deposits paid to other vendors, travel expenses, emotional distress, or loss of enjoyment, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Plan B Ceremonies' total aggregate liability arising from or relating to a specific booking, under any theory of liability, shall not exceed the total amount actually paid to Plan B Ceremonies for that booking.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable law.

17. Indemnification

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Plan B Ceremonies, Pennywood Group LLC, and its owners, employees, contractors, agents, and representatives from and against any and all claims, losses, liabilities, damages, judgments, and reasonable expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising from or relating to: the Client's violation of these Terms; information or materials supplied by the Client; conduct of the Client or the Client's guests; or disputes involving third party vendors selected or engaged by the Client.

This provision does not apply to the extent expressly prohibited by applicable law.

18. Force Majeure

Plan B Ceremonies shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, public health emergencies, illness or injury of officiant or staff, government restrictions or orders, venue closures, transportation disruptions, labor disputes, or other unforeseen circumstances.

Where reasonably possible, Plan B Ceremonies will make good faith efforts to reschedule affected services, subject to availability, but makes no guarantee that rescheduling will be possible.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, without regard to its conflict of law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

20. Dispute Resolution

The parties agree to attempt in good faith to resolve any dispute arising from these Terms through direct communication before pursuing formal legal remedies.

Any dispute not resolved through good faith communication shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania, and each party consents to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.

Nothing in these Terms prevents either party from exercising a legal right that cannot lawfully be waived.

21. Electronic Acceptance

The Client agrees that electronic records, electronic signatures, checkbox acceptance, and other electronic methods may be used to enter into binding agreements with Plan B Ceremonies to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

Pennsylvania's Electronic Transactions Act provides legal recognition for electronic records, electronic signatures, and electronic contracts, subject to applicable requirements, and the Client waives any objection to the validity of an agreement solely on the grounds that it was executed electronically.

22. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, or severed if modification is not possible, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

23. No Waiver

No failure or delay by Plan B Ceremonies in exercising any right under these Terms shall operate as a waiver of that right, and no single or partial exercise of any right shall preclude any other or further exercise of that right or any other right.

24. Assignment

The Client may not assign or transfer any rights or obligations under these Terms without Plan B Ceremonies' prior written consent. Plan B Ceremonies may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of substantially all of its assets.

25. Entire Agreement

These Terms, the Service Policies, the Privacy Policy, the Client Service Agreement, the booking confirmation, the selected package details, and any written amendments signed by both parties constitute the entire agreement between Plan B Ceremonies and the Client concerning the services, and supersede all prior or contemporaneous understandings, whether written or oral.
